Short, because the service is simple. Using Addify means you agree to these.
Effective 1 October 2026
Addify is a song identification app. You give it a clip link, or let it listen for 12 seconds, and it tells you which song and which version is playing: original, slowed, sped up or a remix.
Addify doesn't sell, store or let you download clips or songs. You can hear a preview in YouTube's or SoundCloud's own player inside the app, and every result links out to the platform where the song lives. Where we can find the official release, we link to it alongside the upload.
Every new user gets 5 free scans. A scan that finds no song, or fails, does not use one. Addify Plus unlocks unlimited scans and is sold only through Apple's In-App Purchase, monthly or yearly. The app shows each plan's price in your currency before you buy.
Addify Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and it renews at the same price at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. The yearly plan may start with a free trial for eligible new subscribers; it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings at any time. Refunds are handled by Apple. Restore Purchases in the app brings back a subscription on a new device.
Identification is automated and can be wrong. Addify says when it isn't sure instead of guessing, but a confident answer can still miss. Check before you rely on it.
Results link to TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and others, and previews play in YouTube's and SoundCloud's players. Those services have their own terms, and what you do there is between you and them. We don't control their content and don't endorse any upload we link to. Songs belong to their rights holders.
Addify uses YouTube API Services to play previews. By using YouTube features in Addify, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
What we process and what we don't is in the privacy policy. You can erase your data from inside the app under Profile › Delete account.
If you got Addify from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and Addify, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Addify, its content or its support.
Addify is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available, accurate or uninterrupted.
As far as the law allows, Addify isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss from your use of Addify, or from anything on a third-party site or player we link to. Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.
If these terms change, the new version goes up here with a new effective date. Keep using Addify after that and the new terms apply.
